An exposed Tollywood is huffing, puffing and throwing diva like tantrums ever since it became public knowledge that many of its members are into substance abuse. These guys are so used to chamchagiri, awards and ribbon cutting events, that nobody dare point a finger at them.
Actor Rana Daggubati has been tweeting crazy rants against the media. “The hand that rules the newspaper thinks it rules cinema!! Less do they know that they need to rule their own brains before writing!”
What Rana needs to realise is that apart from a few crazed fans, everyone else is laughing. “Guilty conscience pricks the mind”, is the trending topic.
Actress Madhushalini too better tell her chamchas to back off, lest the rants against the media backfire on her with more sordid details.
The cops have solid evidence. The arrested Ugandan national Patrick has been giving them every possible link. The junior cops are delighted with this breaking news, admit the big guns in Tollywood have been pleading with the senior officers to hush up the whole case. “The case may just be hushed up... too much pressure from the rich families... they are all friends of our seniors,” said a junior officer who admits they will be very disappointed if after all their hard work, the accused get away.
Confident that their clout will stop the cops from delving further into the racket, many actors are giving bold statements like “We are ready to give blood tests to prove our innocence.”
A few decades back, actor Sanjay Dutt, at the beginning of his career, too gave heartfelt statements like “I gave blood to my mother, who is fighting cancer. Do you think I would do that if I am doing drugs?” Everyone has the answer to that question!
People dabbling with contraband, aren’t really the most honest bunch around. So in answer to another of Rana Daggubati’s tweet which goes, “If a donkey bray (sic) at you, do you bray back at them?? And the donkey here starts with a Big D!”
Guess it’s D for Daggubati Rana.
