Rajinikanth has begun distributing the invitation cards for the wedding of his youngest daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. Soundarya, who heads Ocher Studios, is engaged to Ashwin Ramkumar, son of an industrialist. The betrothal took place on February 17, 2010 at the Park Sheraton Hotel in Chennai. The engagement was attended by the Tamil Nadu CM M. Karunanidhi and his family members.
The Superstar, along with his family members, recently invited the Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi personally for the wedding that is to take place at the Raja Muthiah Hall on September 3rd.
Soundarya began her career in the tinsel town as a graphic designer and turned producer with the movie Goa, directed by Venkat Prabhu. She is currently directing and producing the 3D animation flick Sultan – The Warrior.
