Here's an album dedicated to the gorgeous Godse.
Mugdha Godse was born on July 26, 1982, in Pune.
Mugdha has a Bachelors' degree in Commerce.
Before kick-starting her modeling career, Mugdha was a saleswoman.
In 2002, she became the first runner-up at the Gladrags Mega Model Contest, and won the Miss Body Beautiful contest
Mugdha also won the Miss Perfect 10 at the Ponds Femina Miss India Contest in 2004.
She was then featured in an Airtel commercial, with Shah Rukh Khan.
A flurry of Ads followed, including commercials for Close Up, Fiat Palio and Wella.
Mugdha had also signed up as Brand Ambassador for Mysore Sandal Soap.
She is a ramp veteran, and has done press ads and commercials. She has modelled at national and international fashion events.
"I was a model for five years and was really enjoying it. At the same time I was also thinking of doing something different and meaningful. That's when 'Fashion' happened. The success gave me the interest to work more," says Mugdha.
In 'Fashion', directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, Mugdha shared screen space with Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Arbaaz Khan.
Godse was then seen on screen in the Ajay Devgn-Sanjay Dutt starrer, 'All the Best-The Fun Begins'.
About her performance in 'All the Best', Mugdha says, "In the beginning, it was a bit tough for me to play a comic character. But once I got into the skin of the character, there was no looking back."
In 'Jail', Mugdha's co-stars were Neil Nithin Mukesh and Manoj Bajpai.
"I had to look very simple and for that I had to do away with make-up. It was all for the sake of the role. I know the kind of director Madhur Bhandarkar is, he can make me look glamorous for a role and de-glam me for another, just to make the film and story look better," Mugdha says about her role in 'Jail'.
Mugdha believes in ghosts and loves horror movies. They, apparently, give her kicks. This was one of the reasons why she agreed to Rajiv Virani's 'Help'. "Help will bring out the actress in me," she says.
'Help' is set to hit the cinemas on August 13. The film carries a much-talked-about bikini shot by Mugdha. "I wasn't conscious about wearing a bikini because it was a script requirement," says Mugdha.
She will also be seen with Rajeev Khandelwal, Shreyas Talpade and Celina Jaitley in 'Will You Marry Me?'
"My film journey has just begun and it has been fantastic so far," says Mugdha.
Mugdha is a beach baby. During her shorter vacations you'll find her in Goa. The longer ones are spent in Mauritius.
She believes in simplicity. Unlike many other actresses, she refuses to keep a check on her wardrobe and plan one for the week.
Mugdha's take on gay rights: "I welcome this decision with open arms. I'm happy that a man has the right to love another man. Gays no longer need to hide their feelings. I'm happy for many of my friends."
