Korean stocks traded higher as investor sentiment got a boost from better-than-expected US jobs data released on Friday.
Automakers led initial declines, but losses were limited by gains in steel and technology sectors.
The benchmark KOSPI went up 3 .4- points to finish at 1,9-hundred and 42while the tech-heavy KOSDAQ lost Point-2 -points to end at 5-hundred-and-28.
On the FX counter the Korean currency traded at 1,1-hundred and 13 won against the US dollar.
