New Delhi, Jan 21: A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Ghaziabad, will resume the Aarushi Talwar murder case hearing on Friday, Jan 21. Rajesh Talwar the victim's father is arguing against the CBI's closure report
CBI which took over the dual murder case from Noida police on Jun, 2008, filed a closure report after, 30 months of investigation. Aarushi, a 14-year-old, was found dead by her parents in her bedroom on May 17, 2008. On the very next day domestic help Hemraj's body found on the terrace of Talwar's residence.
In the very beginning of the investigation, victim's father Rajesh was the key suspect and was arrested. He was later released on a bail order, after 50 days of detention, but still remains as an accused.
The nations top investigating agency CBI, has failed to recover the weapon, evidence and motive behind this double murder. CBI has filed a closure report stating that they could not investigate further, citing insufficient evidences.
During the last hearing the court ordered the CBI to provide a copy of the closure report to Aarushi's parents, but the couple claim that they still haven't got the copy.
