The Space Commission on Saturday decided to stick to its earlier decision to cancel the agreement between Devas Multimedia and ISRO’s commercial arm Antrix. The apex decision making body for the space segment, which met on Saturday to review the Devas-Antrix deal also decided to restructure Antrix. After the meeting, which lasted for more than 2 hours, Dr K Radhakrishnan, Secretary Department of Space said that the contract with Devas needed to be annulled given the requirement of the S-band spectrum for strategic purposes. A final decision will now be taken by the Cabinet Committee on Security
