A leaked team-sheet has revealed the Blues will recall their influential captain, with Daniel Strurridge starting upfront ahead of striking duo Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres

John Terry , ChesleaJohn Terry is poised to return Chelsea’s starting line-up for their vital Champions League clash against Napoli, according to a leaked team sheet.

Italian publication Gazzetta claim under-pressure Blues boss Ander Villas-Boas left the sheet in the hotel after briefing his players in the lead-up to the match, with Terry reported to have overcome a knee injury to take his place in the team.

It would be a major surprise if the defender does start at Stadio San Paoln, after he failed to complete an entire training session in the build-up to the tie.

The leaked plans also reveal that Daniel Sturridge is set to lead the line in place of Didier Drogba and out-of-sorts Fernando Torres, with support coming in the form of Ramires and Juan Mata.

Another surprise is the inclusion of Gary Cahill instead of David Luiz as Terry’s partner in the centre of defence, with Ashley Cole is set to return from injury to fill the left-back spot.

Reported line-up: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Meireles, Essien, Lampard; Ramires, Mata, Sturridge.
