,
Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji Director : Madhur Bhandarkar
Starring :
Shruti Hassan, Shazahn Padamsee, Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, Shraddha Das

Synopsis:
DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI is a slice of life film about three men, namely, Naren Ahuja, Milind and Abhay Suri and their encounters with love!

A listless Naren Ahuja (Ajay Devgan), well in his thirties and going through a divorce, falls in love with a vibrant and bubbly June Pinto (Shazahn Padamsee) who has just stepped out of her teens.

Milind Kelker (Omi Vaidya), a native poet and an idealistic lover, is enamoured by an ambitious and practical Gunjan Sarkar (Shraddha Das) who is determined to follow her dreams.

A charming casanova Abhay (Emraan Hashmi), starts feeling an alien emotion called love, when he feels increasingly drawn towards Nikki (Shruti Haasan), a modern girl who knows her needs and speaks her mind.

Thus DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI, with his real characters and relatable situations, takes a funny look at love and the extent to which people will go to avoid it or achieve it.

It's a film that promises to bring a smile to your face.

Paramveera Chakra is insipid

,
Paramveera Chakra, the first Telugu release of this Sankranti and the 150th film by ace director Dasari Narayana Rao, holds no big surprise for film lovers.

It appears as if he just wanted to make a film to mark the number and goes about the task. He has a great sounding title but no great script to back it up with. He ropes in Balayya (Nandamuri Balakrishna) and together make an insipid khichdi.

Even while the film unfolds, it is quite evident that director has reached a stage where he needs to retire gracefully.

The film opens with a footage of Dasari's earlier film Bobbili Puli starring senior NTR. The character in this film gets a Paramveera Chakra which is the title of the new film. The senior NTR, when sentenced to death says, 'more such heroes would be born who will struggle for the country.' Then Paramveera Chakra begins with Balayya in a period costume mouthing monologues. And before you are wondering what Paramveera chakra has to do with Raavan, the director yells 'cut' and you realise that the protoganist Chakradhar is a filmstar and his mother (Jayasudha) hates him for becoming so instead of a soldier.

So there is ample scope for dances, dramas and action and a very silly comedy track involving Bramhanandam, Ali and Hema running parallel to the main film. A spoof on Robot with Chitti named as cheddi is in bad taste.

The director moves from East Godavari to Jharkhand to Himachal Pradesh for no rhyme or reason. He throws in well-known directors who appear as themselves in the film directing Balayya in the first half. To please the Telangana guys, there is a sequence on Komaram Bheem. Then enter the army men who want to make a film on a major. They narrate the script to hero Chakradhar and later ask him to accompany them to a place where the actor sees a major who resembles him and gets to know more about the soldier who is now in coma and the terror gang operating as 'Nava Khaeda' and vows to checkmate the bad guys.
The film revolves around Balakrishna. Heavy monologues, thigh slapping and mindless stunts are all part and parcel of Balayya's films and this is no exception. Sheela and Amisha Patel add glamour, while Neha Dupia in a negative role is fine. Music by Mani Sharma is hummable.
Overall the film has nothing much to offer except torture.

Manasara Movie Review — Disappointing!

,
Manasara-Movie-Wallpapers-4
Film: Manasara
Starring: Vikram, Sree Divya
Director: Ravi Babu
Producer: K Prakash Babu
Banner: Moving Images
Music: Sekhar Chandra
Ratings: 2.25/5
Director Ravi Babu is known for his distinct and creative film-making. The director has yet again come up with yet another love story with debutants Vikram and Sree Divya. Well, without wasting your much time we take you to the other details of the film.
Story:
Vikram (Vikram) is a cowardly natured person. His parents (Krishnamohan, Ushasree) repeatedly fight for small issues. Vikram’s father being a bank employee gets transferred to a small place in Rajapalayam Kerala where the people follow culture and tradition. Vikram’s family moves into the house of Krishnan Kutty (Bhanuchander) as tenants. Vikram meets Anjali (Sri Divya) and falls in love with her in his first sight. However, Anjali’s brother-in-law George, champion in Kalari and does not encourage lovers. Vikram and Anjali finally fall in love. How do the hero fight over George and wins his love is the rest of the story.
Highlights
The lead actors, Vikram and Sri Divya need to improve in their acting skills and dialogue deliveries. Bhanuchander gives his best justification to his role. George who has played the villain role impresses with his sharp features and good screen presence.
Manasara is weak in its content and the story reminds you of films like Jayam and other Hollywood films ‘The Karate Kid’ ‘Blood Sport’.
Though the film was good in its technical department it lacks in story, screenplay and comedy
Final Verdict
Manasara has nothing to offer fresh and unique. The film starts on a dull note and the first half is repetitive. Though the second half picks up, the climax again makes you boring.

Sanikkilamai Sayangalam 5 Mani Movie Review- New technology, old entertainment

,
Movie Name: Sanikkilamai Sayangalam 5 Mani
Cast: Sarath, Malini, Ravi Bharathi, Meera Krishnan, Rathi Bala, Selvam, Malathi.
Sanikkilamai-Sayangalam-5Director: Ravi Bharathi
Producer: S.P.S. Media works
Music Director: Jaivee
Rating:  2.25/5
Sanikkilamai Sayangalam 5 Mani’s new attempt in technicalities is a special thing to talk about. Director Ravi Bharathi’s bold try, puts the film into an unusual track by using HDSLR still camera for the whole film. Canon HDSLR – 5D Mark 2 and a Canon HDSLR – 7D cameras offers a great visual treat for the audiences.
SS5M  Story:
Director Ravi Bharathi designed the film as village based crime story. As the title indicates, the movie starts on Saturday at 5p.m and ends on the following Saturday on the same time at 5p.m. The film starts off with the heroine Maha (Malini) who faces pressure from her family regarding her marriage as she in not interested in that. Then she decides to escapes with her boy friend Sakthi (Sarath), for a register marriage and starts her journey from Kodaikanal to Batlagundu. Maha goes missing suddenly during her journey and her uncle Aathi a cop begins to investigate this case. Sakthi who is worried about this starts to chase the mystery on her missing with his friends. The film from here will be filled with surprising twists and turns along with emotional aspects.
Highlights:
Sarath has done well, but he needs to brush up his expressions during emotional sequences. Apart from that he can surely make his mark among the young stars.
Malini performance is not up to the mark.
Director Ravi Bharathi work can be appreciated for handling debutants in the lead roles.
Cinematography done by Guhan by using HDSLR is applauded by everyone in the industry. This is only positive point for the film. His creativity was clearly seen in each and every frame.
The story and the screenplay were dragged too much by which everyone can expect the climax.
Music by Jaivee is loud and in fact a let down.
On a whole the film can be watched for the narration and its technicalities. The film is entertaining with all the aspects, but was within the limit.
Bottom line: Only technology leads

Agam Puram Movie Review- A complete let down

,
Movie Name: Agam Puram
Agam-PuramCast: Shaam, Meenakshi, Anandhraj, Meera Krishnan, Manobala, Alex.
Director: Thirumalai
Producer: Gopalakrishnan M
Music Director: Sundar C Babu
Rating:  1.5/5
Actor Shaam has come with Agam Puram today with lots of expectations. The actor who is struggling to sustain himself among the young actors wants to make a mark with this film. Directed by Thirumalai, Shaam is expecting a hit with Agam Puram.
With not taking much time let’s take a quick look at the story
Agam Puram Story:
Agam Puram revolves around illegal business of narcotic drugs carried on by Don Martin Fernandez, Thiru (Shaam) who was brought up from his childhood by Fernandez is said to be the right hand of him. As getting older Fernandez leaves his assets on the name of Thiru after his demise. Thiru heads the drugs business after he passes away. By his strict working style his partners will be irked a lot.  What follows next is on how his rivals attack him?  Knowing that his family and friends are affected by his illegal business will he continue his business or not will part the rest of the film.
Highlights:
Shaam is no where lesser in giving realistic performance, he has done justice to his role but his stardom is lacking in choosing right scripts. To reach the heights it’s better for him to go with good scripts.
Meenakshi played the love interest of Shaam, but her role is just like a passing cloud as she is seen in few scenes.
Director Thirumalai has given his best but fails to make any impact to the audience.
Music rendered by Sundar C Babu was completely a let down for the film.
On an outlook Agam Puram doesn’t make any appeal at the box office. This is going to be another let down for Shaam.
Bottom line: Not a single attribute to praise
