"I must say the media has been largely fair to John and me. Yes, they've linked him with Tara Sharma, Udita Goswami, Lara Dutta and now Esha, there'll be other such rumours. All I can say is what a man I am with... Wow!" says Bips!
And while stray rumours of link-ups dog him from time to time, John's commitment to his lady-love only adds to his appeal
"If the media is to be believed, John apparently has no consistent taste in women, so he chases every woman that the media finds available. If half of their insecurities for me were true, I would be a nervous wreck. I'm also aware that our continued togetherness doesn't sell newspapers. Our real and imagined miseries do," says Bips about continuous rumours of her break-up with John.
When asked if she ever gets jealous about the female fan-frenzy around John, Bipasha says, "John has never had just a fleeting interest in anything. Not his bikes, his business ventures, his endorsements or his relationships. Either he's totally engrossed in them, or he's not. So ladies, despite what I may read in the papers in the morning, I know he's coming back to me at night."
"Marriage would just be an inevitable conclusion to a relationship that's common knowledge. More than love, I respect Bipasha. It would be my greatest joy to marry the woman I love and respect." John's response when asked if he'll marry Bipasha.
Says Bips about the love and support that John provides: "John is always there for everything I do. Being a Capricorn I like to do everything on my own. Emotionally I need tremendous support from all my loved ones including my parents and John. But when it comes to my work I'm fiercely independent. I'll only take advice from someone who shares my passion, like John does."
