Statistical highlights of India-New Zealand 4th ODI

BANGALORE: Statistical highlights of the fourth ODI between India and New Zealand on Tuesday.

# Yusuf Pathan (123 not out off 96 balls) has posted his career-best innings in ODIs - his first hundred, eclipsing the 59 not out against Sri Lanka at Colombo (RPS) on February 3, 2009.

# For the first time in an ODI, Yusuf has posted a hundred and captured three wickets in the same match. Yusuf (3/49) has recorded his career-best bowling performance in ODIs, bettering the 3 for 56 against West Indies at Kingston on June 26, 2009.

# Yusuf is the fifth Indian all-rounder to post a century and take three wickets or more in the same match, joining Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh and Robin Singh.

# Yusuf has received the Man of the Match award for the first time in ODIs.

# Yusuf's tally of seven sixes in an innings is surpassed only by Mahendra Singh Dhoni in ODIs. Dhoni had posted ten sixes in his innings of 183 not out off 145 balls against Sri Lanka at Jaipur on October 31, 2005.

# The match aggregate of 636 for the loss of 12 wickets is the third highest between New Zealand and India - the highest two being the 726 for 14 wickets at Christchurch on March 8, 2009 and 655 for 19 at Rajkot on November 5, 1999.

# India (321 for five) have recorded their third highest successful chase - the highest two being the 326 for eight against England at Lord's on July 13, 2002 and 325 for five against West Indies at Ahmedabad on November 15, 2002.

# Saurabh Tiwary (37 not out off 39 balls) has recorded his highest innings in ODIs, surpassing the 12 not out against Australia at Visakhapatnam on October 20, 2010.

# Tiwary and Yusuf were associated in a partnership of 133 (unbroken) for the sixth wicket - India's highest against New Zealand, eclipsing the 127 between Mohammad Azharuddin and Ajay Sharma at Vadodara on December 17, 1988.

# New Zealand have not won a single ODI since winning by 200 runs against India at Dambulla on August 10, 2010, losing ten.

# India have registered their 45th win over New Zealand in 87 ODIs (Lost 37 and NR 5) - winning percentage 54.87.

# Rohit Sharma (44) has registered his highest innings against New Zealand, bettering the 43 not out at Auckland on March 14, 2009

# James Franklin (98 not out off 69 balls) has recorded his career-best innings in ODIs, eclipsing the 72 not out against India at Vadodara on December 4, 2010.

# Franklin's above two knocks are his only two fifties in ODIs.

# Franklin and Nathan McCullum put on 64 (unbroken) for the eighth wicket - New Zealand's second highest against India - the highest is 94 between the same pair at Vadodara on December 4, 2010.

# The above stand is the highest for the eighth wicket at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore against India. Kapil Dev and Kiran More were associated in a 82-run unbroken stand against New Zealand - the highest at this venue.

# Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum have shared a partnership of 62 - New Zealand's first fifty-plus stand for the opening wicket in eight innings against India.

# The above opening partnership is New Zealand's highest in twelve innings in ODIs.

# Brendon McCullum (42 off 42 balls) has posted his highest innings against India in India.
